ICE detention preparedness packet
Everything a family should have signed, printed, and in a safe place before anyone is detained: step-by-step instructions, what to do if ICE comes to your door, a family preparedness plan, and Form G-28 pre-completed with the firm's information.
- How to use the packet, in plain language
- If ICE comes to your door: your rights
- Family preparedness plan and document checklist
- Form G-28 with the attorney's details already entered
Signing the G-28 prepares the file; it does not by itself make the firm your attorney. The firm signs and files it after accepting the matter and completing a conflict check. If someone is detained, call the firm immediately.
